Instructions for Presenters and Chairs
- A Windows PC projector and pointer will be available in each room.
- Before the start of the session, please copy your presentation slides to the PC desktop using your own USB storage device.
- We scheduled 30 minutes for each paper: 20 minutes for your presentation, 5 minutes for the discussant, and 5 minutes for questions.
- The last speaker will chair the meeting. The first speaker keeps time during the chair’s presentation.
- Each speaker will discuss the previous paper. The first speaker discusses the last paper.
Instructions for chairs
The last speaker will chair the session. As a chair, please introduce the speakers and keep the session on schedule. If your session has fewer papers than expected, please make sure that the remaining papers stay on the original schedule, so that participants can attend other sessions too. This means that in case of sudden cancellation, there might be a gap of 30 minutes in the session. In that case, please don't change later speakers to an earlier time slot, but keep to the schedule. Not all rooms have clocks, so please make sure you have time keeping technology at hand.
